Chrissy Bray Sundowner
On Friday 27 January we were graced with the presence of Chrissy Bray - an entertainer based in London and on holidays in Perth with her her mother Sylvia (our President) and family. This was a new initiative by the Club to offer an opportunity for members, family and friends to enjoy a free social event. The Management Committee were thrilled that over 170 guests supported the show.
The play room was rearranged to accommodate the guests, the sound system was set up, the bar was open and the music began. Chrissy started the evening with a music quiz. Many of the guests entertained us with their renditions of the songs and as the crowd loosened up more people leapt to their feet to show off their singing prowess.
Finally Chrissy sang to to some of the great classic dance songs and then everyone in the room was on their feet rocking and rolling.
Many thanks to Sylvia for lending us her daughter and to Chrissy for entertaining us so well. Thank you to all the helpers and most of all to all the people who attended making this such a fun an entertaining evening.
