Monthly Summary: December 2023

WABC Management Committee look forward to supporting you in 2024

December is always a hectic month with people travelling and others catching up with family and friends. Despite this sessions at the club in the regular Duplicate and Supervised sessions have been busy.

On Tuesday 12 December WABC held it’s Christmas Party and prize giving. The playing room was full. After play, everyone was offered a drink and then the prizes were presented by Sylvia Bray, our Club President. After the formal proceedings, many stayed on to celebrate the festive season with paella. Well done to the prize winners and also to all the players who participated in the events during 2023.

2024 starts of with a fun night with Chrissy Bray, following the regular afternoon session on Friday 12 January. Please note that tickets need to be purchased for this event as numbers are limited. For further information follow this link.

The Charles Pearce Cup is open to all WABC members and starts at 7.15pm on Wednesday 3rd January. To qualify for this competition, members need to play in a minimum of three of the five available Wednesday night sessions in January. Visitors are still welcome to play in all of these sessions.
