2024 WABC Super Novice, Novice and Restricted Congress
This year saw the Super Novice, Novice and Restricted Congresses combined into one all day congress with a Super Novice & Novice field of 24 pairs and a Restricted field of 18 pairs.
A very pleasant Sunday’s bridge and, looking at the results, the Super Novice players didn’t seem to have too much trouble with the slightly more experienced Novice players.
The winners in the Super Novice Section were Rory Hanlon & Lyn Roberts from Mike Bennet & Derek Dorward with Megan Jefferies & Juliana Westlake third.
In the Novice Section, Maurice Ford & Mark Glaser won from Penni Fletcher-Hughes & Leane Lapworth.
The winners in the Restricted Section were John Finlay-Jones & Prue Hart from Eamon McCabe & Joanne Theriault with Diedre Doepel & Jennifer Sharpe third.
The Best WABC pair not already winning a prize were Karen McLean & Christine Sabier.
