2024 Bayswater Restricted Congress

A large number of WABC regulars played in the Bayswater Restricted Congress last weekend on a perfect weekend for being indoors. Heavy showers correctly predicted. The event consisted of a Qualifying session followed by a Final and a Plate.

Qualifying

The North/South was headed by Jodie Basham & Karen Moller with Kath Negus & John Nelson in third place. The East/West field saw Joscelyn Charter & Jill Jenkins second, and Prue Hart & Grainne Hehir third.

Final

The Final was a very close run affair with Kath Negus & John Nelson winning by one matchpoint from Trish Christy & Mei Zhao and another two matchpoints back to Prue Hart & Grainne Hehir in third.

Plate

Jeff & Sandy Veling had a torrid qualifying but turned it around to win the Plate.
