2024 Joan Prince Swan River Swiss Pairs

A large number of WABC members played in the Joan Prince Swan River Swiss Pairs held last weekend at the West Australian Bridge Club. Ten matches over two days. Results are here.

The event was won comfortably by James & Stella Steer from Alan Cransberg & Kimberly Zhao and Ron Cooper & Phil Gue.

There were 78 pairs including some youth players.

In the top ten pairs the following players are members (home of alternate) of WABC: Stella Steer; Ron Cooper; Angeline Christie; Kaiping Chen; Tom Lemann; Linda Coli; Mimi Packer; Nick Cantatore; and Tim Wright.

Other notable results were Jodie Basham & Karen Moller running 23rd and probably the highest placed Restricted Pair (<300MPs).

Sheenagh Young was the Tournament Convenor and hopefully enjoyed a return to the club.
